Executive Director, Vaccine Product Development

Our client is a global not-for-profit organization. They have asked us to assist them in their search for an Executive Director, Vaccine Product Development.
The Executive Director, Vaccine Product Development has the principal responsibility of overseeing project management teams and leading the development and implementation of processes and procedures.
Major tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Provides leadership in defining project strategy and decision points.
- Develops integrated and interdepartmental project schedules.
- Interfaces with vaccine designer, vaccine developer, and clinical testing teams associated with the Vaccine Development Plan.
- Participates in regular project management reviews and scientific advisory committee meetings providing project status reports and addressing ongoing project priorities.
- Supervises staff and consultants as required to achieve project milestones.
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- PhD in life science or commensurate experience.
- Over 15 years of experience in project management of vaccine development projects, preferably from the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with international projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of GLP, GCP, and/or quality assurance and regulatory affairs associated with vaccine development is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
